What a gorgeous day! We started out with the
intention of a great day down south, only to have our fuel separator
crack down at the ramp at Port Hacking. Took us 4 hours to go
down to Bias (no one else had the parts) and buy a replacement.
Decided to throw the boat in near Oatley once
most of the morning was wasted. We only really spent about 1/2hr
on the soft plastics. No hits although we watched the guys near
us nail a monster bream on soft plastic lures.
So for us the action was dead before we started,
however the conditions were nice and some fish about, just nothing
for us.
Huge fire in the bushes as we hid behind the
water police...better to chase them than the other way around!!
Check out the pics, sorted out my SP tackle for the day but got
little use. We had things to do that afternoon so just happy to
get her out on the water.
Maybe next time, bloody cold though. I reckon
if we had a couple more hours we would have been hitting some
nasty bream near the bridges.
The temp was 1 degrees C at 4 am in the morning,
maybe thats why the glass gracked on the separator. Shrinkage
all round that morning.
