SEA TOW “YOUR ROAD SERVICE AT SEA” has expanded to cover the Botany Bay and Georges River Area. With coverage from Picnic Point Boat Shed to 10nm Seaward, boaties can now enjoy the benefits of our 24/7 Marine Assistance Service.
Sea Tow Botany opened for business in the first week of April 04. Dave has worked on boats and fished in the area all his life and his local knowledge is essential to a speedy response. Originally an electrician by trade, Dave is a fully qualified and insured Coxswain and has worked on Long liners and other commercial vessels throughout Australia.
Blakehurst Marina is the home port to Sea Tow Botany Bay, however there’s a very good chance you’ll find Dave cruising in his 22ft Sailfish on the Georges River and the various bays that surround the area. As Dave always says SAFE BOATING!

With commercial marine towing rates as high as $300.00 per hour, our "Road Service at Sea" Membership program can protect - not only your boat and family - but your wallet as well!
A covered vessel will be ungrounded at no charge (soft aground only). "Hard aground" vessels constitute a salvage situation and are usually covered by the vessel's insurance policy.
Run out of Fuel and we'll bring you some, up to a maximum of 60 liters of petrol or diesel. No charge for the delivery (of course, you pay for the fuel). There are very few petrol stations out there. With commercial towers charging as much as $300.00 per hour, you really should be a SEA TOW member, shouldn't you?
Imagine that you've been drift fishing all morning with your VHF radio, stereo and depth finder on. You go to start your boat and... click, click, click. Don't worry. A Sea Tow membership provides you with FREE jump starts. We'll be right there!
With all the "flotsam and jetsam" in the water, our free prop disentanglements service could prove very valuable. We'll attempt to clear your prop of lines, nets or whatever else may have wrapped around it - or tow your vessel back to your dock or repair facility. Please note: Diver's services are optional if required
In addition to all of the other benefits you receive with a Sea Tow Membership, Sea Tow Captains will also provide FREE navigational assistance. If you want to know where the sand bars are or where the dock-side restaurants are, just give us a call. We will also provide sea condition reports, radio checks, tidal information and try to answer any other question you may have.
