Melbourne Fishing Charters is run by Skipper Andre Lindsey. Andre and his crew pride their business on offering a world class customer service with personalised fishing experience.

Andre has worked as a deckhand and fisherman out of various ports around Australia from the Tamar River in Tasmania to Thursday Island in far North Queensland. Andre was born and raised on the shores of Port Phillip Bay and has an intimate knowledge of the bay's history, geography and fishing secrets.

Andre takes real pride in his extraordinary knowledge and passion for fishing, life at sea and the environment. He loves to share a story or two about his fishing life. Andre and his crew also cook the best tasting fish in Melbourne, on board... You Catch it, and he'll cook it up fresh

We invite you, to join Andre aboard 'Bojangles' for a fishing adventure on Port Phillip Bay. We leave from St Kilda Public Pier, just five minutes from the CBD in the heart of St Kilda. Port Phillip Bay boasts some of the best fishing grounds in Southern Australia. The chance of hooking a snapper, giant flathead, squid, elephant fish or shark are just a cast away. Bojangles is 38 foot ex cray fishing boat and provides a safe and very stable fishing platform that is capable of handling the various conditions on the bay. On board we serve bottomless hot chocolates and marshmallows, coffee, tea, cordial and a two course lunch including fresh fish cooked with our special recipe and BBQ sausages.

'Bojangles' has many great features with outdoor lounge chairs, full galley, toilet facilities, large customer ice box, sound system, and BBQ. Plus top of the range fish finding and GPS equipment to make your fishing day more successful.

The vessel offers lot's of room to move with comfortable seating both undercover and in the open for those willing to feel the wind in their hair.

'Bojangles' is located an easy 5 minute walk from St Kilda.

Anyone fishing in Victorian waters as of July 99 requires a fishing licence.

Fishing Licenses are available from more than 950 retail businesses throughout Victoria, including Kmart, Myer, and most retail fishing tackle stores. Alternatively a license can be purchased online from the Department of Primary Industries.

Remember to Bring

Clothing - T-shirt, Jumper or Polar Fleece Jacket, Long Pants or Shorts.

Footwear - Runners or Gumboots

Misc - Fishing License, Wet Weather Gear, Sea Sickness Tablets if required, Camera and Film, Binoculars, Sunnies and Sun Block, Cool Box to take fish home.

Melbourne Fishing Charters runs all year round for morning, afternoon and dusk trips, plus full day charters on request. Family groups are welcome, and we cater for individuals, fishing clubs and corporate social clubs. Our fast and spacious our vessel will get you to the hotspots quickly and safely.
